Why the U.S. Was justified in dropping the Atomic Bomb

The United States was justified in dropping the atomic bomb on Hiroshima and Nagasaki because it saved an estimated one million American military and civilian lives. America did the right thing in this situation because if they would have not done this our whole country would have been in danger in the Japanese military, there could have been another attack on the United States. The first bomb drop on Hiroshima was on August 6, 1945, the plane was called the enola gay, 80,000 civilians died. The U.S. warned Japan several days before but Japan did not budge or surrender.

The bombs were argued to be the two best kept secrets in the war. If the United States would not have dropped the bombs we would have been a major threat to Japan, we had to bomb them at some point and I believe it was a great decision. The bombs saved many of our men that were going to fight in the pacific from dying. Although it killed many of innocent Japanese civilians, it also saved many of the United States men that were going to fight the war in the pacific.
